Thank you for your patience with me while I have been completing my dissertation film and essay.
In my absence, we were unable to post a celebratory message on the blog for the 250 year anniversary of settlement on the Seychelles, celebrated in August. I am incredibly proud of the culture that has developed since settlement and can not wait to travel to Mahé to celebrate on home soil when fears over the pandemic settle down and travel is unrestricted.
In the meantime, please do watch and feedback on my dissertation film (below), You, Me & Structural Racism, which was shot mostly in lockdown conditions using video conferencing, archive and a little location footage.
Thanks to all that were involved and supportive during the process.
